Specialist ICT services provider ATIO, is pleased to announce that they have recently been recertified as ISO 9001:2008 compliant for the next three years, by SABS.
ISO 9001 is a Quality Management Systems Certification maintained by the International Standards Organization (ISO). The ISO 9001 quality standards are the internationally accepted standards for quality management systems. It provides an organization with a set of principles that ensure a common sense approach to the management of their business activities, to consistently achieve customer satisfaction.
In South Africa, the SABS provides accredited conformity assessment services to the services industries such as government departments, FET colleges, financial services, medical aid administration, car rental, cleaning services, IT, engineering consulting and warehouses. "ATIO views the adoption of these quality management system standards as a profitable business investment, not just as a required certification issue," says Chris Van der Sande, CEO of ATIO.
